Our Fabulous Teachers
Nikki, co-owner and choreographer of Dance Dynamix has been dancing since she was 2 years old. Since then she has specialized in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip hop, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Musical Theater Dance. She continues to take numerous dance classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Through her years of dance she has competed in numerous dance competitions and has always walked away with first place and special awards. Nikki has also performed at festivals such as Belmont Racetrack and for the Town of Hempstead. She was also the head choreographer for the dance team at Long Beach Middle School. Nikki was invited to work for numerous dance companies to dance on cruise lines and was also asked personally by Bev Brown to perform in her showcase. She also is the choreographer of three award-winning competition teams that she created in 2012. On her first year at Dance Dynamix, she has accumulated over 40 Trophies, high scores awards, special judge’s awards, multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall awards. Nikki opened Dance Dynamix to spread her knowledge and expertise of dance to her students and to make them the best and most confident dancers they can be.
Samantha began her dance training at age 3 in New Hampshire. She studied in New Hampshire and Boston under the direction of Mihailo Djuric, Edra Toth, John Ling, James Reardon, and Clyde Nantais. During her summers she studied at Festival Ballet Providence, Ballet New England, Northeastern Ballet Theatre and Burklyn Ballet Theatre. While at Burklyn she was accepted to perform with Burklyn Ballet’s company production of Aladdin in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Fringe Festival. She continued her education at The Ohio State University pursuing a BFA while studying under Susan Hadley, Melanie Bales, Michael Kelly Bruce, and others. While at Ohio State, she was invited to perform original works by Esther Baker-Tarpaga and Dante Brown at Columbus’ Drums Downtown. Since moving to New York City, Samantha has completed Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester program under Bonnie Erickson and Jim Cooney. During her time as a ProSem, she worked and trained with Emily Bass, Neil Schwartz, Jared Jenkins, Cat Cogliandro, and Jim Cooney. Samantha has also danced on television shows such as Good Morning America and Dr Oz, for artists such as Icona Pop, Cupid, and The Wanted. After finishing the BDC program, she joined the Salvatore Larussa Dance Theatre, where she performed original work at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre.
Joseph started gymnastics when he was 14 years old. As a teenager he assisted in coaching gymnastics, cheerleading, parkour, and free-running . He has been a coach for over 4 years and has primarily focused on teaching gymnastics and parkour. He has also acquired small endorsements through parkour/free-running and is a sponsored athlete under Urban Vanguard. Besides being a coach Joseph is also a personal trainer and enjoys bodybuilding.
Victoria has been dancing since the age of 5 and has dedicated herself to the art of ballet. She has trained with some of the finest professional ballerinas and danseurs from Russia, where the highly sought-after Vaganova method was born. In addition to working with prestigious Bolshoi and Mariinsky dancers, she has attended programs hosted by American Ballet Theatre and even received training from Gelsey Kirkland. Victoria has years of experience performing original choreography for competitions as well as classical variations from ballets such as The Nutcracker, Giselle, La Bayadere, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and The Sleeping Beauty. Victoria has a passion for refining proper ballet technique to create a beautiful and fluid quality of movement while dancing. She hopes to motivate and inspire her students to always work towards their goals and never settle for less than their absolute best.
Morgan have been a gymnast since she was three years old. She grew up on both USAAGC and USAIGC competition teams, She has been to nationals for her gymnastics and has placed very well throughout her years of competing. She was also on her high school gymnastics team and went to Wood Ward camp for gymnastics as well and trained with some of the best coaches out there. At the age of sixteen she started teaching gymnastics classes at the gym that she has trained at for years. She has coached beginners all the way through the competition teams for years. She was on Nassau Community College cheerleading team to progress her tumbling skills. Still till this day she practices some of her skills and goes to classes to brush up on all of her events to make sure she will keep all of the skills she has learned through the years. She has also grown up doing dance as well and has mostly done acro and hip hop classes that always incorporated her gymnastics moves. Gymnastics is something that she will always keep working on and never let go from her life. She hopes that her extensive years of gymnastics training and the love she has for flipping and tumbling will motivate her students to be the best that they can be!
Mallie, our young energetic teacher, bonds with our Dynamix babies. In a collaborative effort, Mallie teaches great choreography while applying a good understanding of the art of dancing in a fun and nurturing way to our young students. She helps cultivate individual talent in each child while also teaching the class the importance of teamwork. Dance Dynamix has received amazing feedback from parents about how wonderful and caring she is with their children. She’s been on an award winning competition team for the past 5 years. For the last two years she was a soloist in competition and took top honors. In 2014, she took 2nd place overall in her Hip hop Duo, along with prestigious special judge’s awards. Mallie also attends classes at Broadway dance center in NYC.
